The Kremlin expressed certainty on Friday that the United States comprehended the message from Russian President Vladimir Putin. In his recent address, Putin acknowledged an attack on Ukraine using a new missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the address was comprehensive, clear, and logical, and believed that the current Washington administration had the opportunity to understand it.
Putin’s Warning to the West
In a surprise address aired on Russian television, Putin described the Ukraine war as having a ‘global character’ and warned Western nations that Russia was prepared for all possible scenarios. He also stated that Moscow reserves the right to strike Western countries that permit Ukraine to use their weapons on Russian territory.
Moscow’s Response to West’s Decisions
Peskov emphasized that Moscow cannot ignore the reckless decisions and actions of Western countries that produce and supply missiles to Ukraine and then partake in strikes on Russian territory. Russia’s New Hypersonic Ballistic Missile
In response to these attacks, Putin stated that the Russian military launched a new hypersonic ballistic missile named OreČ™nik. This missile struck a factory that manufactures missile components in Dnipro, central Ukraine. Putin declared the missile an uncounterable weapon, demonstrating Russia’s capabilities.
